This Week in America Guests Weekend March 24,2012
The number one cause of death among women is not breast cancer. It's heart disease. In fact, one in three women will have some form of cardiovascular disease. Our guest is Mary Macklin a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner and author of "Women Fit at Fifty: A Guide to Living Long". Mary says women can do a lot to protect themselves and their families from heart disease and while women over 50 are more at risk, heart disease can affect anyone. A new study reports that women are more likely to die from a heart attack than a man.
